Chinese New Year
It's Chinese New Year! We still have 2 weeks plus until CNY over. Red is good luck during this festival.
Did you know legends said that a monster 'Nian' comes every end of the year? It hurts people and kill them. One day, someone suggested," What about we wear and decorate our houses with a lot of red and make firecrackers sound to scare 'Nian' away?" That person's plan worked. It did drove 'Nian' away. Every year, people wore and decorate their house with a lot of red and made loud noises from that day onwards.
