Today Martin and I went to greet the China students. Mr Chong and the principal at that school had a good friendship. When we went back to class, Mrs Yeo showed us a piece of paper and this is the first response:
They have no rights, they have no say,
And they longed to be free one day.
The second response:
Our happiness was not to be
Until our country could be free.
Lastly:
We pledge to keep our nation free
With justice and equality
Mrs Yeo thought I cheated. Well, 4 more days till the Olympics day and 5 more days till Singapore's 43rd birthday.
Let's sing this:
S-I-N-G-A-P-O-R-E! SSSIIINNNGGGAAAPPPOOORRREEE!!! YEAH! Bye!
